    Gross Max, founded in 1995 by partners Bridget Baines and Eelco Hooftman, has been widely regarded as one of the few UK based exponents of a new generation of contemporary European landscape architecture.

    Gross Max added numerous competition winning designs for public squares in London alone, such as St John s Square, Lyric Square, Brixton Central Square and abroad the practice won numerous competitions with Zaha Hadid Architects such as the design of the 200 ha site of the BMW plant in Leipzig, the external landscape of a new High Speed Railway Station in the outskirts of Naples and a master plan for former Docklands along the river Nervion, Bilbao. Gross Max s strong affinity with art has resulted in a range of collaborations with artists and the practice has won three Royal Society of the Arts "Art for Architecture" Awards.

    Gross Max has been published in a wide range of international magazines and book publications. Recently completed projects include the New Bullring in Birmingham, Rottenrow Gardens Glasgow, Lyric Square London, Potters Fields Park London and the Royal Festival Hall London.

    Newtecnic follows principles of rapid prototyping as a method of developing fa ade systems that can be manufactured quickly and with a high degree of accuracy and precision. The office s current work ranges from large-scale developments in Cairo, Baku, Moscow and Dubai, to residential and commercial projects in London, where Newtecnic is working with design teams to develop innovative technical solutions and optimize complex designs for digital fabrication.

    Much of Newtecnic’s work is informed by a specific response to climate and to the technical performance of the external envelope.

    Seam has worked on a number of projects in the US, Europe and the Middle East ranging from small single family residences and interior renovations to mixed-use developments and has collaborated on awarded design competitions.
